Maintenance Dredging of North Cove in Old Saybrook, CT
The dredge Samson and crew removed approximately 200,000 cubic yards of soft silt from North Cove in Old Saybrook CT. The project was made challenging by strong currents in the Conneticut River, and heavy ice in the cove and river.
The tug Natick tows dredge Samson and pushboat Mantis up Long Island Sound for De-mobilization.
